About Us

Hi there! We’re Beatrice and Eli, founders of Open Me When.
After years working in different aspects of the gifting industry, we both came to the realization that the heart and intention behind the gift were gone and not coming back. Choosing between a generic fruit basket or waxy box of chocolates seemed like a question with no real answer, and we couldn’t take it anymore. We’re here to make sure you never have to make that bad choice again. We started to Open Me When to bring back the personal touch that has been lost in modern gift giving.

Since our launch in 2017, we have grown more than we could have imagined, sending gifts around the world to be received by happy smiles with memorable experiences. With our attention to detail and our eye for design, we make gifts that you can be proud of. Best part? We do it all for you. With the help of a growing team and two very cute pugs, we take the time to individually create each gift, including our signature touches of wrapping each item with a personalized note. We couldn’t be more thankful to have a job that brings so much joy into both our lives and the lives of others.
